As I start this blog, I'm within three weeks of my wedding, and the majority of my work is done. This project is equal parts selfish, looking for an outlet to showcase all my hard work before the day comes, and helpful, wanting to share my triumphs and joys and mistakes and frustrations.
As someone who personally assembled everything from invitations and thank yous to bouquets and centerpieces, I'd like to think I've learned a thing or two about wedding crafting during this last year.
Please note that this is NOT an etiquette blog. I won't entertain criticisms about the choices that I or others make to forego formalities, regardless of your feelings on cash bars and "escort cards" and inner envelopes. I simply don't care. My work is already done, and it isn't changing now. That isn't what this blog is about.
